Working Harbor Day    When is it?   Flyer

The Working Harbor Committee's annual Working Harbor Day is held each year on the Saturday closest to National Maritime Day

On this day we celebrate New York Harbor and its working waterfront with a day long series of very low cost Hidden Harbor Tours®, music, talks and exhibits, food and drink and more. This is WHC's signature event. In 2004 and 2005 we provided over 2,500 rides at Pier 63 Maritime - which seems to be about the maximum we can do in a single day at a single location. As a result, we started offering additional Hidden Harbor Tours® during the summer, a program we plan to continue. We will also explore ideas such as a multi-day event or a multi-venue event. As we plan, we'll keep this page updated.
