Two hour tours, typically on weekend afternoons
These tours visit many port facilities but the highlight is always the giant containership terminals at Port Newark/Elizabeth, NJ.
These tours end at the Statue of Liberty and inlcude a close up view of the "teardrop" 9/11 memorial at the end of Military Ocean Terminal in Bayonne.
Special Hidden Harbor Tours®
Newtown Creek Tours (2 1/2 hours)
Special tour up the 4+ mile long creek that separates Queens & Brooklyn. Very polluted. Very industrial.
But with an emerging public side. One of our most interesting tours, typically offered once a year.
Circumnavigation of Staten Island (3 hours)
A very popular tour. In addition to Kill Van Kill we travel the entirte length of Arthur Kill with a close up
view of Witte's graveyard of ships and Fresh Kills.
Walking Tours (2 hours)
If you’d like to explore the working waterfront by land, join us for the new Hidden Harbor Walking Tours. We’ll be taking you to places in Lower Manhattan and Staten Island that are hidden or overlooked where you can experience the working harbor’s history and its fascinating role today.
