Programs for children, youth and seniors expand horizons and offer career possibilities.

Senior's Programs 

Thanks to a grant from Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, the Working Harbor Committee has provided free Hidden Harbor Tours® to seniors from Manhattan senior centers beginning in 2006 to the present. These tours are conducted in association with Circle Line 42, which provides vessels at discounted rates. Guest speakers from the maritime industry join the WHC’s Executive Director Capt. John Doswell. Since this program began, the WHC has hosted over 2,500 seniors.
